See the Good
When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves. ~Tamara Kulish
Ready for a revelation? Prepare for your mind to be blown...
***We see what we look for***
Of course it's true, right? What we give our attention to becomes our focus.
Focusing on the goodness of a situation or the positive attributes of another person doesn't mean we ignore the problems and difficulties. It simply means to point our energy elsewhere, towards goodness.
Here's an opportunity to do just that - to see the good!

I was given an advanced copy of an incredible 365-day devotional written by the trifecta powerhouse over atĀ The Ruth Experience.
It's a resource that helps point our minds and hearts towards seeing the good in every day, in every person (including ourselves).
One Good Word a DayĀ takes the idea of one 'Word of the Year' and breaks it into 365 invitational words of encouragement to deepen our faith and turn our focus towards goodness.
It's an opportunity to practice Philippians 4:8.
"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever things areĀ true, whatever thingsĀ areĀ noble, whatever thingsĀ areĀ just, whatever thingsĀ areĀ pure, whatever thingsĀ areĀ lovely, whatever thingsĀ areĀ of good report, ifĀ there isĀ anyĀ virtueĀ and ifĀ there isĀ anything praiseworthyāmeditate on these things."
